The third instalment of Written Off Publishing’s award-winning Northern anthology of poetry, prose and photography follows and celebrates the many complexities of the North of England.

It was raised up from myth, fed love and death, purged by the sea, and returned to us changed and longing for home.It is working class, it’s feminist, it’s history, it’s constantly travelling to somewhere else, it is Paul Simon but also Peter Gabriel, it is the memory of people within a place.

Seventy-six writers and nine photographers, all distinct in sound and story, yet all united and changed by the North, are here in one place. The North is constantly changing, but the people are still here.
